Clear gelcoat is used to avoid surface fading. Most of our Carbon Fiber parts has a “Dry” side as a result of the Advanced Vacuuming Techniques we are using. All carbon body parts (like bumpers, fenders, side skirts etc.) has semi-gloss finish which is better for spraying or wrapping. If you want to make them gloss you have to clear coat them.
