- To fit the front splitter please use 4 mm rivets or M6 bolts.
- You need to fix bolts or rivets every 100mm to the lower lip of your front bumper.
- The front splitter is carrying huge amount of downforce.
- You need to use one pair of splitter support rods if you stick the splitter out by 50-75mm.
- You need to use two or three pairs of splitter support rods if you stick the splitter out by 75-100mm.
- We do not recommend sticking this splitter out by more than 100mm out of the bumper.
Description
176cm front splitter for the Nissan Silvia S15
A flat, 176cm wide front splitter that mounts under the front bumper of the Nissan Silvia S15 (1999 to 2002). It gives the car a lower, track-inspired front end. With support rods fitted, you can set how far it sticks out and at what angle.
Fitting guide
- Use 4mm rivets or M6 bolts.
- Fix a rivet or bolt every 100mm along the lower lip of the front bumper.
- At speed the splitter carries significant aerodynamic load, so use support rods when it sticks out from the bumper:
50 to 75mm out: one pair of support rods
75 to 100mm out: two or three pairs of support rods - We do not recommend sticking it out more than 100mm from the bumper.
We strongly recommend fitting by a professional body shop.
